St. John Bosco Catholic School Students Participate in Remembrance Day Contest

Posted On Thursday January 11, 2018

Thank you to all of our students at St. John Bosco Catholic School who participated in the Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day Contest in the fall.  Students were given general descriptors to use as guidelines for this contest, but essentially, they had to use their creativity skills to design a poster or write a poem that demonstrated their understanding of the importance of remembering and honouring those who gave their lives for their country.

Without exception, all of the submissions from St. John Bosco students were excellent and unique.  Four of our students were selected as 2nd place winners for both the Zone and the District Legion branch.  We would like to congratulate the four students for their outstanding work and receiving this level of recognition for themselves and our St. John Bosco Catholic School community.  The students were Kristin H., Lauren F., Hayden M., and Adam M. Bravo!
